We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction and real estate projects, from initial calculations to final figures. This role ensures projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare tender and contract documents.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports.
- Assess material, labor, and equipment requirements to ensure cost efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare cost control strategies.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.
- Support project managers with financial advice and cost planning throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in construction or real estate projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost management.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
